Two Spotted Dogs was created in the summer of 2006 by Mindy Waters. The site was named after Mindy's dalmation, Noel and rat terrier, Cooper. And yes, they are both spotted! Mindy's first kits shipped in July and she immediately attracted a group of dedicated scrappers to the message board. Since it's beginning, Two Spotted Dogs has continued to grow in popularity, thanks to Mindy's great kits and friendly message board. I have known Mindy though our local scrapbook store for several years and in September 2006, I joined her Design Team. In early 2007, Mindy approached me about the possibility of selling the business to me. While she loved creating the site, she realized that she could not devote the necessary time to it once she started teaching full time last August.  

I had worked and taught at my local scrapbook store for several years and the store had just moved about 20 miles from my home. I knew that I would be spending less time there and was looking for a way to develop my own scrapbook-related business. Two Spotted Dogs was the perfect opportunity! I have a wonderful group of friends I have gotten to know through the message board and a monthly kit club is a great way for me to combine my retail experience and my passion for scrapping, while providing me with the flexibility I need for my busy family. I am very fortunate to have been married to my best friend, Rob for the past 17 years. He is also provides technical support for Two Spotted Dogs! I have three children - a 16 year old daughter, a 14 year old son and a 9 year old son.  Our family also includes a friend of my daughter's, who lives with us, a dog (not spotted!), and two cats.

In March of 2007, I officially purchased Two Spotted Dogs and immediately started planning for ways to continue to provide the friendly atmosphere and great customer service that Mindy had been known for. I have added even more kit options and products for the shop. I love providing my customers with amazing and unique scrapbooking kits and products, along with friendly customer service.
